Sondra Radvanovsky is an American soprano.

Starting learning voice at the age of eleven, one of her teachers was Diana Soviero.

So far she is best known for roles in the Verdian repertoire- Elvira in Ernani, Leonora in Il Trovatore, Hélène in Les Vêpres Siciliennes and Élisabeth in Don Carlos.

She opened the Canadian Opera Company's season in the title role of Verdi's Aida in 2010.

At the Metropolitan she recently had a major success playing Leonora in David McVicar's production of Il Trovatore opposite Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Dolora Zajick, and Marcelo Álvarez. The performance was filmed and broadcast as part of the Met's HD broadcast programme.
